Graphics

Here are some resources that provide graphics and other material that you can use in developing council marketing materials:

Use of Organization Identity and Program Symbols
This guide is designed to help you use the identity of the Boy Scouts of America and its programs accurately and consistently. It includes the most often used logos and graphics along with guidelines for correct display.
BSAGraphics
This Web site, maintained by the Graphics and Imaging Service, contines a wider array of images in both high-resolution and low-resolution formats. Your council can provide you with the username and password to this site.
The Language of Scouting
While The Langauge of Scouting is not a source for images, it is an essential reference for preparing any marketing materials. It provides information about the terms and style associated specifically with Scouting and grammar, spelling, and style norms used by the Boy Scouts of America.

Local councils may also contact the Marketing and Communications Division to obtain graphics that are not available from these sources. For best results, provide a detailed description of the image you need (if it's an image from a BSA publication, provide the publication's item number and page on which the image appears) as well as an indication of what you intend to do with it (business card, poster, outdoor sign, newspaper, etc.) so that we can provide precisely what you want in a format that will produce the best results for your project.

The Merits of Marketing (marketing.scouting.org) is a resource for local councils, developed by the Marketing & Communications Division of the National Council, Boy Scouts of America.
