Your Council Needs You to Help Earn Award

The Good Turn for America Council Award recognizes local councils with a shared vision and a proven commitment to help youth learn qualities of good citizenship through community service projects conducted with other community organizations. Last year, 103 councils earned the Good Turn for America Council Award.

Many units diligently conduct Scouting for Food projects and provide various other services during the holiday months. Remember that every service project is a Good Turn for America project! These projects are important opportunities to help your council qualify for the award.

Remember to take advantage of the unit recognition items available through the Supply Group:

Remind your units to enter their service project information on www.goodturnforamerica.org.

Ask your Scout executive or regional office for more details on the Good Turn for America Council Award.
