Universal Press Syndicate (cartoons) will highlight the Boy Scouts of America in a three-page spread in The Mini Page which is available through more than 400 papers nationwide. The mini-page section is considered both educational and fun for kids and will highlight the Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting and Venturing. It will also cover the upcoming World Scout Jamboree and the 97th Anniversary of Scouting.
The issue on the Boy Scout anniversary will run from Jan. 27-Feb. 2. Each newspaper can choose which day it runs The Mini Page, so the actual day varies within that week. Unfortunately, Universal Press does not release the list of the newspapers.
Look for The Mini Page in your local newspapers—and use it to reinforce activities for Scout Anniversary week already planned in your area.
